Brand Development
In 2016, a few friends and I created THE JAM: CLT at my co-founder Erica Butler's kitchen table. Our idea: bottle the feeling of an early 2000s dance club and turn it into an after-work escape. A decade later, it's still packing classes.
I built the brand from the ground up — identity, creative direction, social, photo/video, event marketing, and product design.

Brand Identity & Creative Direction
She pretty.
Logo & brand design, photo/video: yours truly.
BEY DAY
Instead of May Day, we do Bey Day.
Bey Day is a phenomenon. Full stop. Imagine 150+ Beyoncé fans cosplaying as their dance deity, letting the spirit of Queen Bey herself flow through them for one glorious hour a year. We’ve done it for a decade, and we aren’t stopping.
All the marketing. All the graphics. All the videos & photos. Moi.

The only time THE JAM: CLT social feeds are in full technicolor is during National Pride month and Charlotte Pride Month. And then it’s all rainbows, all day.
PRIDE
We go hard during Pride. And for good reason. THE JAM: CLT is designed to be a safe space for anyone, any size, shape, color, sexuality, to feel included, seen and loved. We often partner with RAIN to donate proceeds.
A website I figured out how to make at Erica’s kitchen table when we were young, scrappy & hungry. (Also, ask me about Jamilton)
Business card. For the youths out there, this is like LinkedIn, but make it paper.
